01:30 pm - Caroling 4 Cans 2004 !!!!!
Does anyone want to go Christmas caroling this year?

I'm organizing the second annual Caroling For Cans event.
All are invited to come... We're going out on December 18th
to spread some holiday cheer to a few neighborhoods while
collecting can food donations to donate to a local
organization that feeds Portland's homeless.

Last year was very fun. Everyone had a great time.
You should come and bring your friends. Spread the word!!!

I'll have more info to post in the next few days,
and the website will be updated shortly too.

email me with questions.

God Bless,
Unity Northwest

08:01 pm - Christmas Caroling Update:
Saturday Night is the new night of action... I had originally planned it for Sunday but more people seem to be available on Saturday night.

So far it looks like 7:30 or 8:00 pm will be the time we ring our first doorbell. Which means we'll need to assemble around 7:00 somewhere. The neighborhood that we'll be going to is yet to be determined so feel free to email me your suggestions.

We will be caroling and collecting donations for the Oregon Food Bank. I'll be creating a flier for the residents that will briefly explain what we're doing. If they'd like to make a donation they can give us a check or cash. If they aren't able to donate money, we'll have a decorated radio-flyer ready to accept canned food. Ooh, and we'll give all whom we visit a candy cane too!

If you have any other ideas, suggestions, or questions, email me at unitynw@hotmail.com

Remember to check back for the latest updates! :)
